Brian Osmand opened the doors to a factory in 1953 under the name Osmand Studios with a plan to create one of Auckland's greatest sign shops.
He was joined by Peter Parata in 1954 and formed Osmand Signs Ltd in 1969
Robin Mansfield joined the directors in 1975 creating amazing signage work for Auckland Council, ANZ Bank, Auckland Tennis amongst other loyal clients.
In 1977 the team of directors were joined by the legendary Steve Foster ushering in a new age of signwriting disciplines including airbrushing, ink technology and techniques mixed with traditional gold leaf work.
As Brian retired Keith Ellis joined in 1982 bringing a new spark to the Osmand Signs legacy, as Robin, Peter and Steve moved into retirement and other ventures Wade Blow and Keith Ellis went into partnership for the next 9 years as Osmand Signs Ltd.
In 2016 Keith moved into contracting continuing with Osmand Signs, with Wade Blow as sole director.
Today the team carry the torch, continuing the craft and skills that have been passed down over the last 56 years.
As the signage and print industry has changed dramatically in recent years the Osmand Signs team continue to push boundaries and stay at the cutting edge of technology using the latest in printing and manufacturing machinery, as well as AI technology providing clients with a premium branding and signage experience.
